There were 53,000 new cases of swine flu in England last week, down from 64,000 new cases. The Health Protection Agency estimates there have been 715,000 cases of swine flu in the UK since the pandemic began.
During a pandemic you will need to clean more thoroughly to minimise the spread of the virus. This applies particularly to the surfaces that people touch, i.e. door knobs, door push plates, kitchen areas, taps, microwave ovens, refrigerators, toilet buttons, soap dispensers, hand dryers etc.
